About Me: My first Disney experience occurred in August 1972!. It was HOT... the asphalt was melting, my infant sister cried the entire time and my parents were ill prepared but I was hooked!  My love affair with all things Disney began.  Fast forward 30+ years, I was raising my children and working on my Master's Degree when I was confronted with a health crisis and faced some pretty challenging treatment.  So, with my husband's encouragement, I put a Disney trip at the end of the treatment and every time I got down or discouraged, I whipped out my Disney itinerary and started planning.  Disney got me through a very rough time.  So, since I was already booking and planning for friends and relatives, I decided to make a career from my passion.  Few people are so lucky.


My Family: I have been married almost 20 years to Doug Connor and we have 3 incredible kids; Martin,16, Nathan,14, and Merritt, 8.  We have lived in Raleigh, Greensboro and outside Jackson MS for 18 years before being transferred back to Greensboro.  We decided to move back to my hometown of Madison, NC to be close to family.  We even live in an old house that I walked past as a child.

My Favorite Disney Restaurant:  Sci Fi Diner in Disney's Hollywood Studios


My Best Disney World Tip:  Have the main meal of the day planned and reserved.  Walking around with hungry kids and finding no availability at the restaurants is rough and wastes valuable time.  I line up my dinner with the park that is open late for extra magic hours.  If visiting Disney in hot weather, I plan our main meal in the heat of the day and have a light dinner.
