Planning The Magic » Disneyland
Disneyland Disneyland is made up of 2 theme parks, 3 on-site resorts and a shopping Mecca know as Downtown Disney District. Disneyland is much smaller in comparison to it's Floridian counter part, but it has much to offer and well worth the trip. Here you can really feel Walt's vision of what a family park should and could be. Choosing the right time to go...
Weather:Southern California can be very hot in the day and actually cold at night. Pack a variety of clothing and be prepared to layer.
Holidays/Crowds: These are peak times for attendance and you will have to be prepared to use your fast pass and do a little planning. Crowds here are common best park days barring holidays and events are Tuesday through Thursday. If you want to really feel like you have enjoyed the parks you will want to allow yourself 4 full days here.
Park Hours:Disneyland Parks are normally open till midnight during peak season. Park hours will be limited during non peak season and shows are often dark during this time too, so you will want to consider this during your planning.
Rehabs & Closings: Check for rehabs and attraction closings so you won't be disappointed during your trip. These schedules can change so you'll want to check during the planning stage and then again on departure.
Where to Stay...
Disneyland has 3 on-site resorts, each offering it's own experience, that being said you are paying for location, location, location here. It is up to each individual to decide if an on-site resort is the right choice for their Disneyland Vacation. There are 40 Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels, many are just a walk or short trolley ride away. You are sure to find a hotel in your budget here.
Most hotels and on-site resorts will accommodate 5 in a standard room.
How to Play...
Ticket options are single day tickets or hopper options. You can purchase multiple day tickets and add the hopper option too.
How to Dine at Disneyland...
There is a Dine in the Magic Meal Plan, that can be added to a Disneyland package. Ask your Enchanted Destinations agent for more details and to discuss the best option for you.
